Episode 10
๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Things people don't talk about (aka Sad stories and bad sides)
  • Let's stop and start talking about sad things
  • Why do we always want to hide sad stories and appear happy?
  • Why are emotional people so stereotyped?
  • Were we always meant to be cheerful?
  • What if we are simply reserved people by nature?
  • Is sadness related to being reserved and shy all the time?
  • Would you share your sad stories every now and then?
  • Let's stop thinking that life is unicorns and rainbows and start considering the reality that there are sad people out there (and this may include us) but that's okay. The human spectrum of emotions is so broad and we tend to go back and forth in this spectrum to find that balance, that homeostasis.
  • It's not that we need sadness in order to experience happiness. But that the sadness has its role of expressing how we truly feel in that moment. And there's no need to cover it up with a happy attitude. But we do get to feel it so we can accept and adapt and so we can release it. Release the heaviness. And realize that feeling was supposed to move through us to teach us something, to open us up. To heal us.
