💜 Letting intuition be your guide
This week, we are talking about intuition, how it can serve you, and how it can be your guide.

First off, what is intuition?

As I will talk about in the podcast tomorrow, intuition is something that won't always make sense in our minds. It's more of the "heart-set" instead of mindset, the feeling more than the thinking.

There may have been times when you've felt and seen intuition serve you in the past. As creatives, we start our projects with that feeling of being "called" towards them. It doesn't make sense but we follow it anyway.

Second, let's ask how we can assess the times when intuition has served us.

It's ironic how sometimes, using intuition can feel counterintuitive. And yet, when we do, things seem to fall in place.

When I worked abroad, for two years, I had that nagging feeling that I wanted to go home and do my thing. I felt like it was time.

And when I did, I felt more free. I gave birth to our daughter 2 years later, and worked in my dream role as a web developer. I never looked back since.

When did you find that following your heart actually set you free as well?

Third, what would it mean for you if intuition were your guide?

On top of already being aware of the practicalities of life, how would it feel if we acted more from the heart than our mind?

How would it look like if you still adhered to responsibilities and duties but worked at and on them with a full heart?

I know it may be hard to imagine. There have been so many times when I simply tried to finish the work. And that's important too.

But there's also a certain beauty to working in a way that feels very aligned.

How can you plan for how you would use your intuition as your guide in different scenarios, such as you work, everyday life, etc?

Now, at this point, we can't always plan to be intuitive, right? And therefore we can simply implement as we go.

And also, maybe we can create a reminder or daily tracker for you to check in with ourselves and our hearts.

Finally, let's evaluate how things go along the way, whether using intuition as our guide has truly helped us. You may not see the results of this in the short term. And patience is of the essence.

But along the way, as we stop and start our creative projects, we will be able to appreciate more how remembering to check in with our intuition can truly help us to become better, more heart-centered creators. 🙂

Take care,
